The problem it solves
Before a passage, many skippers look up distance, fuel and cost in different places. SkipperCalc brings those pieces into one fast tool: nautical miles, speed, total engine fuel burn and price per litre.
What data we use
Routes use published references from marinas, operators, studies or tourism sources and are always shown as cost-planning estimates. Boat fuel figures are published only when we have accepted manufacturer tests or independent boat tests.

What it does not do
SkipperCalc is not a navigation tool, does not read live weather, does not know how much fuel you have onboard and does not decide whether you should depart. It is a budgeting and comparison calculator.
How you can help
If a route, port or boat model is missing, send a suggestion with a source. We prefer to grow more slowly with checkable data than fill the site with figures nobody can verify.
